Welcome To The Ranch

Enjoy a glimpse into my ranching adventures……

I hope that you will follow along

Managing my 105 year old family ranch alongside my brother John and my mom Anita I have the opportunity to be out on the ranch each and every day. I enjoy capturing images that tell the story of our family operation. For me pictures really make ranching come to life and for those enjoying these shots my hope is to make them feel like they are on the ranch too. My hope is that my picture stories bring a smile to fellow cattle friends faces as they think to themselves, “ yep we do that too, or, that is a new way of doing things” . The photos are a direct link to the consumers who want to ask the questions of where their food comes from, why we do what we do, and how we treat our livestock. I am always eager to visit with those who want to know the story behind our cattle.

I am blessed to be a part of the rich family heritage my great grandparents created for me. Settling in the Salinas Valley from Switzerland and Italy, my grandparents on both sides of my family worked long, hard hours to create a good life not only for themselves but for me, their future generations. Being a 4th generation cattle rancher I believe I offer a unique perspective when showcasing and promoting my family ranch as well as the cattle sales I promote. Just like the folks I represent , I too find cattle ranching to be the foundation for who I am. It is my heart beat and I cannot imagine doing anything else. It seems that no matter what I find myself doing it all comes back to the beef industry, the cattle as well as the people.

I hope that you will enjoy my thoughts and a glimpse into ranch life living. Who knows how this will go, I am excited to share with all of you a part of who I am and what I do.

Feel free to send me an email and ask a question, offer some thoughts on blog topics , share an experience on your own ranch or just simply to say hello !

Best~
